ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM 2 Day Painting Workshop with PETER GRIFFEN Saturday 7th August 2021 & Sunday 8th August 2021 10.00am – 4.00pm
Using acrylic paints, a wide variety of techniques are demonstrated….. bold brush work, dripping, glazing, collaging, scribbling, and many others. Composition is considered, but more important is the quality of the mark making and the effective use of colour and tone.
Using the free flowing lessons learnt on Day 1, a still life exercise is set and abstractions developed on Day 2
Intuition is encouraged as is bold experimentation. Learn how to extend yourself and discover the magic in your play.
Suitable for all levels, beginner to advanced.
